There was a good article in the 5/3/13 edition of the Dallas Morning News publication NeighborsGo, featuring our neighborhood.

In  nutshell, they interviewed Burt Alexander, David & Anita Morehead, and Lori Dodson who are all WGNA members.  Burt talked about how he bought a new house in 1961, and how he has watched the neighborhood grow from there.  David described how the combination of resources (ie. Jackson Middle School, the Fire Station essentially right across the street, and a nearby DART line) were compelling enough for them to settle here.  Lori talked about the Hospital, the Hollabaugh Rec Center, and the Walnut Creek branch library.  The article claims that our neighborhood finished first in their analysis of areas with at least 5,000 people per square mile, in terms of safety, affordability, and ease-of-commute.
