2013 Mosaic Multicultural Festival is 5/25/13 @ Hiep Thai Food Plaza 5/5/13  K.Agee

There will be an event held on Saturday 5/25 at the Hiep Thai Food Plaza from 10am until 2pm which celebrates our community’s diversity and helps grow a greater understanding & appreciation of our various sub-cultures.

If nothing else, this should be a good chance to try some interesting food, see some traditional arts & dance, and meet your neighbors. Hiep Thai is located at 3347 Walnut, which at the northeast corner of Walnut & Jupiter.

This program is overseen by Garland’s Community Cultural Commission, which is an advisory board to our City Council. Ricardo Rocha (WGNA’s current President) sits on the board representing our district. If you are interested in contributing to this event as a food vendor, artist (of any type), or as someone willing to just be there to help visitors feel welcome, please either contact Ricardo directly, or better yet coordinate thru Minerva Moreno (972-271-1913 or gm-moreno5@verizon.net)
