The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Officers in attendance:

David Morehead - President

Linda Deskin- Vice President

Irene Ryan- Secretary

Ken Agee - Sergeant-at-Arms

Officers not in attendance:

Minutes from the meeting in January 2022 were read and approved.

Due to Robert Vera’s absence, there was no treasurer’s report.

Officer Kuenzle, one of our NPOs, was at the meeting. He told us of the catalytic converter thefts that are still going on. A few of the perpetrators have been found. If anything out of the ordinary is observed, don’t hesitate to call the police. That includes suspicious persons or places. You can use the non-emergency number or 911.

Watch out for vehicle break-ins. Be sure to lock all doors and don’t leave anything valuable in the vehicle.

There was discussion regarding panhandlers. You can contact the police department if there are any issues.

Parking violations can be reported via eAssist. They are handled by the City Marshal.

Amber Knott, from the water department, gave us information on the how the city uses its water. Bois D’Arc Lake is a new source of water. Lake Lavon is at 98% capacity and is the lake used for our water. We are now at year-round level. This could change when lake levels drop. If you have any water issues, call 972-205-3210 24/7.
