Free meals for kids in our neighborhood 6/22 K.Agee
Once again there will be several outlets for free meals for kids under 18 years of age in our neighborhood. The effort is mostly funded by the U.S. Dept of Agriculture, thru their Summer Food Service Program (“SFSP”). It is administered locally by either Garland ISD or a non-profit called CitySquare (www.citysquare.org/food) and is usually referred to as the Summer Nutrition Program (“SNP). CitySquare operates at the request of the City of Garland.
