Minutes from the meeting in April were read and approved.

Treasurer’s report: $2,650.00 in the bank

Hooray, we’re back at Hollabaugh Recreation Center! Rhonda McTyre, the supervisor, took us on a tour of the updated facility. Program fees have increased, but the new areas make it a good investment. There are nice kitchen facilities that can be used for $15/hr.

Corey Jones, the NPO, was in attendance. He told us that the Williams neighborhood had little to no crime. There is an increase in vehicle burglary; however, no force was used as the cars were unlocked.

Questions were asked on when to call 911. The answer was if life/limb, property is in immediate danger. Otherwise, use the non-emergency number for delayed offences. Don’t call if it’s just a hunch.

Monique Marvez, a stand-up comedian, will perform on August 24. You can check with the city for ticket information.

A motion was made to end the meeting, was seconded, and passed unanimously.
