Minutes of the Quarterly Meeting

October 24, 2024

Hollabaugh Recreation Center

The meeting was called to order at 7 pm.

Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

There was an introduction of the officers.

Officers in attendance:

Linda Deskin – Vice President

Irene Ryan – Secretary

Robert Vera – Treasurer

Ken Agee – Sergeant-at-Arms

Officers not in attendance:

David Morehead – President

Minutes from the July meeting were read and approved.

Treasurer’s Report: $2,700.00 in the bank.

Attendees were reminded to go vote.

There will be a Town Hall meeting with Carissa Dutton, our Councilwoman, on 11/14/24, at 7 pm here at Hollabaugh. Make plans to attend.

NPOs Diaz and Murphy were in attendance. They urged us to keep our eyes open for porch pirates and to report it. If you see something, say something. Use the non-emergency number and ask to write a citation. Any problems, you can email the NPOs.

Jerry Click from the Garland Fire Department gave us a great overview of how the department works, what they do, and how we can help to keep ourselves and properties safe.

If anyone has questions, these can be addressed after the meeting.

Meeting was adjourned after motion and vote.
