November 5th Elections 10/24 K.Agee
In person early voting starts Monday October 21st and ends on Friday November 1st. This is in the lead-up to the main day of voting on Nov 5th. As a reminder, residents of Garland’s District 6 can vote at any precinct in Dallas County if that’s more convenient. Voting by mail is also allowed, with 10/25 being the last day to request a ballot. Mail-in ballots must be post-marked no later than 7 p.m. on 11/5… the same day as the final in-person voting.
Aside from voting for US President, you will also be asked to pick one of the candidates for US Senate, your representative for the US House, the Texas Railroad Commissioner, three Texas Supreme Court Justices and three Texas Court of Criminal Appeals Justices, your Texas State Senator, your Texas State Representative, Dallas County Sheriff, and numerous other Court Judges, & other elected office holders (ex. County Commissioner, Tax Assessor-Collector).
Again, the “big day” for voting at walk-in election sites is Tuesday November 5th, but early voting can be done on these dates:

The Dallas County Community College at Garland (675 W. Walnut St) is probably the closest place to vote early, and here is the complete list of Dallas County voting locations for the actually Nov 5th day of voting:
This link shows a sample ballot for all of Dallas County. Please note that it contains several offices and propositions that will not show up on your ballot. For example, they show all State Rep’s whose districts are inside the county, and Propositions from other cities such as Balch Springs.
