Minutes of the Quarterly Meeting

January 22, 2026

Hollabaugh Recreation Center

The meeting was called to order at 7 pm.

Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

There was an introduction of the officers.

Officers in attendance:

David Morehead – President

Linda Deskin – Vice President

Irene Ryan – Secretary

Ken Agee – Sergeant-at-Arms

Officers not in attendance:

Robert Vera – Treasurer

Minutes from the July meeting were read and approved.

Treasurer’s Report: $2,930.44 in the bank.

David Morehead welcomed all attendees.

New Business: Election of Officers

Due to family concerns, Robert Vera has resigned as Treasurer. Ken Agee has agreed to fill that office. At this time, he will continue his role as Sergeant-at Arms. This is contingent on a vote by members tonight. Members voted to approve Mr. Agee. Kathleen Oulela has volunteered to be our advisor.

We had a visit from NPOs Rivas and Erickson. Some good news, vehicle burglaries and scams are down. They answered a few questions.

There were two representatives from the West Garland Library, Ms. Myriam with circulation and Ms. Dorothy with the kids’ programs. They gave a great presentation about all the programs that are available for residents.

The meeting was adjourned after the motion, second and vote.
