Citywide Town Hall Meeting in new West Garland Library 8/13/2026 8/26 K.Agee

The city of Garland will be hosting a Town Hall meeting this Thursday 8/13/2026 in the new West Garland Library, running from 6:00pm until 7:30pm.  This meeting is not related to the WGNA organization, but should still be of interest to those living in the area.  Fact is, this will be one of four such Town Halls open to all resident of Garland. 

The focus will be on the upcoming (November) tax rate reduction proposal for the City, plus various quality-of-life improvements (ex. transferring many Code Enforcement citations to Civil Courts instead of Criminal Courts).
