Workshops Begin at 8:30 a.m.


Building a Sustainable Organization: Presenters will discuss the importance of "turning your organization inside out," and will provide real examples of how
Minneapolis neighborhood associations build for the future.

Developing Effective Partnerships: This workshop will cover what you need to think about before you form a partnership: how to analyze your organization and prepare yourself for a partnership; what you gain and what you give up; how to identify and motivate potential partners; barriers and pitfalls to partnerships; and how to establish and sustain successful partnerships.
 
Developing a Resident Driven Action Plan: Workshop will focus on information gathering techniques, a demonstrated and realistic structure for creating a neighborhood driven plan, implementation steps, and how to keep a plan current.
 
Understanding Community Leadership: This workshop will challenge different definitions of leadership, and will provide ideas and examples of how leadership works in communities.
