Security Cameras Can Be Registered With Police 3/25/20 K.Agee

The Garland Police now use a program allowing homeowners & businesses to register the locations of their security cameras. This does not give them the capability to see the video stream directly, but lets them know if video information might be available in cases where it might help their detectives.

Since this program is run by an external company, you must first select a username and password. When you register the camera(s), please give it a name that includes the street address (ex. “5314 Wildwood Dr, Front Porch”). You will also have a chance to enter a more complete description, if you want to mention that it also records the street, alley, etc.
