I got a call from Bill Hargrove of YellowBook this morning at about 8:30am.  He was very apologetic of the way the YellowBooks had been distributed the day before, and promised to correct the problem.  In fact, he stated that the distributor would not be paid until the problem was remedied.  By this evening, it looked like they had fulfilled their promise.  In my opinion, this was done very professionally and was a good contrast to the way we were treated by the Dallas Morning News back in September.

Again, if anyone still has problems, don’t hesitate to call YellowBook at 800-373-3280.

YellowBook thrown on lawns                                                                    12/2/08 Ken Agee

If look out on you lawn and find a big yellow bag from YellowBook, it’s a mistake according to YellowBook.

I just called their customer-care number (800-373-3280) and explained how unsolicited material needs to be delivered within 5 feet of the door (so NO SOLICITATION signs can be seen, if present).  “Michelle” said that she wasn’t aware of the ordinance, but the books should have been delivered on our porches – ordinance or no ordinance.

Apparently they will be correcting the delivery on Edgewood Drive, but if you want to ensure they get you street, please call 800-373-3280.
