Public Hearing for Zoning Proposal, 5/21/13 @ 7PM                             5/9/13  K.Agee

Councilwoman Dodson has informed us that the City Council will hold a public hearing in their chambers on the 1^st floor of City Hall (200 N. Fifth St).  The meeting will be held on 5/21/13, and starts at 7PM. 

The City has a proposal for entering a Tax Abatement Agreement with a locked psychiatric hospital in the old Vista (Community) Hospital at 2692 W. Walnut, just west of Shiloh.

Councilwoman Dodson has concerns about the facility’s proximity to the Walnut Glen Academy (elementary magnet school), and the Garland Nursing and Rehab facility.  So there will surely be some discussions about that.

If you have any concerns (pro or con), please plan on attending.  You will be given the opportunity to speak, or to simply have your preference recorded.
